Graduation

It was a beautiful rainy day last Thursday when we held
graduation here for our 18 graduates
With the rain came storms and with the storms went the electricity.
Thankfully it wasn't out long so our graduation wasn't held in the dark.
because the cd with the graduation march was lost
our graduates walked into the ceremony to Brahms lullaby:)
(the only instrumental cd that could be found)
the teachers sang to the graduates
the graduates sang for all those who have helped
them get to this point in life
diploma's and gifts were received
and speeches were given.

Over all a great graduation day!

Please pray for our graduates as they go out in the "real world"
pray that they will be able to find jobs and be successful in life.
Please also pray for all my kiddos while they are at home
for summer holiday. Pray for safety, health and happiness.
Thanks!

Unexpected

I have been blessed this week getting to see 2 friends
that I was not expecting to see!
First I got to see Jen M.... (I must admit I don't even know her last name)
I have only been with her a few times (meeting her through T),
but I liked her right away. Warren brought the Mobay team to
New Life Church on Sunday so I was able to catch up with her, and she was
willing to help me voice since my focus was not where it needed to be
after a week of little sleep.
Thanks for all your encouragement Jen! It was great to see you!
I also got to see Mariel twice this week! She had emailed me
letting me know she would be on the island I just didn't know if I would
get any time with her. Mariel was a summer intern down here
2 years ago and we clicked right away! Its been nice to have a
couple of different opportunities to sit down and catch up with her.

Yay for surprise meetings!

Meet Dr. Buzz and Team

This past week Dr. Buzz and his wife were here with a group from
their home church. They spent the week doing dental work on the
kids, while those not working in the clinic painted or worked in the school.
Nicole Cannell was also here doing speech therapy with the kids.
Dr. Denise and Tj spent their days doing check ups and fillings
Dr. Buzz and Dr. Denise doing a check up
Ron and Susie (his mom) joined the dental team for the first time this year.
He did check ups and some fillings but also did almost 2o extractions!
The most I can remember doing in the years I have been working
with the dental team is MAYBE 5 total. For their first time they did great!

on a night like this

I love sitting on the couch listening to the rats run around
in the attic. Its so loud I just sit and watch the ceiling...
it sounds like they will fall through at any time...
I sure hope they don't!
