Sea Container number.... I don't have a clue
another ACWR sea container. This one was for CCCD only
so we were able to have it brought in to us. Yay!
so we were able to have it brought in to us. Yay!
The unloading process begins(the man off to the side was the truck driver and he had
all sorts of questions to ask me as I helped to unload
the container the final one was an offer to go and live
with him... I declined:)
that got very heavy, for my weak arms, very quickly
so they were would be ready to pick up

Rainy Days
Its always helpful to have neighbors to know computers
and how to do things on them... like uploading photos without a
card reader since mine has decided to stay in the states another
week this time traveling to Alabama.
Most days at some point are rainy. Thankfully on this night the
rain held off a bit to let the kids run around and waste energy
before its dorm time.

Hello Sunshine!
Its back! The sunshine is shining... at least part of the day
I have hunted down and acquired a key to the playground
and now daily the kids are knocking on my door signing
swing? swing? swing?
The first day I opened the play ground it was COMPLETE chaos.
I last for about 2 hours before I locked the gate and went home:)
The next day we tried again...
this time I let the little kids in for an hour
then I let the big kids in for an hour. SO MUCH BETTER!
Everyone got a turn on the swings and I wasn't constantly running
in circles around the play area making sure the little kids didn't get taken
out by the big kids and that everyone who wanted to swing got an
opportunity. Added to my list of jobs: Play ground monitor:)

Nickayala still very cautious when around all the kids. She is usually just content to sit by me on the bench.
bottom and climb up the pole instead of starting
at the top and sliding down:)

Britini who has adapted quickly and hasno fear having fun acting like she is going
to go across the monkey bars.
Matthew playing in the sand. The dorm moms always yell at them if they seem them
playing in the sand, but I figure there boys and are going to
get dirty so let them have their fun.
he doesn't have a care in the world. The strength
of some of these kids amazes me.
Yay! for the first week of breaking in the new playground.
Yay! for lotion to sooth burns from sitting outside for hours
while the kids break in the new playground!

Dreary Days...
out the days. Rain, Cold, Fog, Grey.... Dreariness.
Its only been two days of this and already I can't wait to see that Beautiful
Jamaican Sun that I love!
Until then I will just continue to enjoy the time with my kiddos...
when I can find them and they are not hiding from the rain
that makes them sick:)
Introducing!

Little Ones
Today was a rainy dreary day and I was sitting in the Library after school
with the day students since the dorm parents had the rest of the kids in the
dorm and out of the rain (becuase if you didn't know in Jamaica rain makes
you sick:).
I was just about ready to have the kids clean up and lock up the
library when these two sweet faces walked in.

I turned from the table as they walked in and one came upand gave me a hug and then both ran to the toy box and started
to play:)
I have no idea what there names are...
they have no idea what their names are:)
One of them had
NJ sewn onto the side of her shoes so I am guessing thats
ones initials. The other I had no clue. I knew we were getting
2- 4 year olds and I guess they have arrived.
Tomorrows goal: find out the names of these girls

Home
Yesterday I traveled back home, and I know how it is goingto be, but every time it still hits me how different the 2 places
I love are.
We had a smooth travel day. 3 flights, 2 airlines, arriving at a decent
time in the afternoon.
I am not so happy to say that we are now two for two in not
having any of our luggage arrive with us...
Not one piece.
So it was smooth sailing until we arrive home:)
Then comes the hurry up and wait. Hurry to the shortest lines, wait in lines,
do paper work, hurry to wait in more lines, get paper worked stamped.
Hours later leaving the airport to crazy traffic.
BUT
When you are so tired and just want to be home and praying
that your bags show up the next day without anything taken
out that you will have to go back to the airport to fight for
God blessed us with an AMAZING sunset to Enjoy while
we waited in traffic.
(good pic Blake)
Its good to be home, the transition has started, I got my bags
today! and nothing is missing that I know!
Thank You Jesus!

Becoming a Bad Penny
So I got to spend a lot (but never enough) time with these great people. It got to the point where at the end David would hear my voice and
stick his head out the door and say "your like a bad penny we
can't get rid of!"
(No worries David I know that was said in nothing but Love:)
