A Day Away

Sometimes days away are needed, and
when you have an airport run to make, and a
kid who gets car sick, its the perfect excuse
to go down and hang out in Mobay for a day:)
 We tried a new motel.....
the pool was not kid friendly... but she didn't care:)
by the end I was exhausted, but Neiah had a great time!

Praise Jesus for days away.

Praise Jesus!

We are SO VERY THANKFUL that one of our favorite little guys,
Princeton, went to be with his forever family this past week. We
are going to miss his ornery smile, and cuddles, but we are so excited
that he got his forever family.
Please be prayerful for him as he transitions to this new normal.
Thanks

What to do...

What do you do when your packed and crazy weekend
gets completely cancelled and you find yourself at home
with nothing to do?
How about catching up on the Blog.

2 weeks ago Aunty Tamara came down to hang out with
us for the week. Mommy loved having her here to chat and hang out
with  and Neiah loved having someone spoil her.
Last week we had our last team of the season. And they were proud
to be our first (mostly) all Korean team. (There was one Chinese,
and one whitey in the group too:) They spent the week doing a VBS
out in the community in the mornings, and painting down at the school
in the afternoons.

That has been the last two weeks for the most part. I have more pictures, but they
are on my other camera... that is in the car... that is taking the team to
Mobay at this moment.
Maybe this afternoon I will be able to put more on.
Happy Weekend!

Calling ALL Prayer Warriors

This past Friday I finally got all the paper work needed
for Neiah to travel. This morning I was able to pick up her
passport and this afternoon filled out her visa application and
pay the fee.
The only thing that was needed is an appointment at the
U.S. Embassy. The earliest I could get was Aug 21st
(in 45 days) the day we planned to travel back to Jamaica
after our furlough.
The CDA paper work has specific dates on it,
(July 21-Aug 21) and the fee has
already been paid. If I can't get an appointment before that it means
I don't get to travel this summer, and have to start back at square one
to try and get a visa for this winter.

PLEASE PRAY that someone cancels their appointment in JULY
and that I can get the appointment so all the past 6 months of
work and the hundreds of $ spent are not wasted.

Thanks.

Soul Care Day

Today, after 35 days of going non stop,  we are taking a soul care
day on this beautiful Sabbath day.
The plans for today is to do NOTHING!

Nieah has settled in with her toys, and cartoons.

While I have settled in with my coffee and podcasts,
This morning I have been able to sit down, drink, and enjoy
not only one but two cups of coffee!

We are both SO ready for this day!
Thank you Jesus for sustaining us and giving us this
day of rest.

Home Repairs

I am so thankful for the repairs that have been
done this summer on my house.
Every time it rained my bed room would end
up with a pool in it. And there was no place
in the room I could move my bed that would miss
a leak so the 'pools always ended up on the bed.
Its NOT fun to wake up wet in the middle of the
night becuase its raining outside:)
So thankful to have the roof fixed, and to
no longer have to worry about pools in my room.
leaks were found in the wall wasting tons of
water.
Praise Jesus for leaks found and fixed and a
shower that we can once more use!

Graduation

Two weeks ago we had graduation here at KP.
This year 5 students graduated.
Please be praying for them as they are now out in
'the real world'.

 Romario getting his diploma
Misheka getting a special award.

The teams continue to come ...
Last week we had a team here from Maryland
And this week we have a team from Ohio.

This is my 5th and final team of this stretch.
SO READY for this weekend and the break it brings!
