If you have come on a mission trip to KP then you most likely have met or worked with Tony and Cilda deMercado. They worked as missionaries here for 20+ years before retiring. Now they feel like God has called them to move to Haiti and work with the deaf their. But as you know before missionaries can go supports must be raised for them to go. A Good Week.

 This past week I got to hang out with the Highland Park team. They 

are always a lot of fun. 

 Especially because of their leaders Jeremy and Katie.

They have become good friends in the past

4 years that they have come. I love getting to spend the week hanging

out with them. And its always hard to see them go.

I feel like all I do is laugh with them and it so good for

my heart. They came a month early this year so sadly Tamara wasn't 

able to join us this year, but maybe next year.

This team has given me many 1st. Because of this team I started

working with New Hope. That has been a HUGE door

God has opened for me because of their team. This year

they also gave me the first of me taking a team member to the 

hospital when one of their boys came out of big tree dislocating his

fibula and breaking his tibia in a few different places. Praise Jesus

that his fibula was able to be relocated and a cast put on until he reaches 

the states where he will need surgery. It was time consuming going

back and forth between the Dr. and the school, but PRAISE HIM

everything went smoothly, and I got a lot of reading in as we waited for 

the different medical things that were needed:)

This girl  has really blessed me the past few years. I am so

thankful for her and the way God has used her in my life. Sadly 

(but I am excited for her too) this summer she will be done at Highland

Park, and moving on to where God moves her next for ministry.

Please be praying for her as God opens doors and leads her to where

He wants her next.

JOC/ Caribbean Board Visit

The 2nd week of February we had one of our yearly visits from the 

JOC. We spent Thurs-Monday with them in meetings and visiting the

different ministries. Tues-Sat. Some of the Carribian Board memebers

came down to see what ACWR is doing on the island.

We are so thankful for all the love and support we get here on the island.

 Sunday after church we went to visit the St. Elizabeth Coffee Roasters

operation and CEO Clark. :)

 He was so excited to show everyone the process 

of how he makes the coffee we sell from picking the 

coffee to roasting it.

 After the coffee tour we went to Pauline's for lunch and Blake got them

some fresh coconut milk.

 Work being done Monday at New Hope. The guys reenforced some 

of boards that were coming off the fence while Ky looked on:)

 Thursday when the Caribbian board was in

Mandeville they also spent time at New Hope.

Lucky Me!

2 weeks ago I got to go to church with my Uncle Bruce, Last week

I got to go to church with my Uncle Alan and Aunt Joanne!

So Fun to spend the Sabbath with Family!

Awesome Surprise!

Thursday night I got a call from  Aunt JoEtta telling me that her and
Uncle Brucewere in Mobay and wanted to come see me the next day.
 I felt awful. The day was full and I didnt' know how it would work to see
 them and do what was already planned for that day. I had to
 apologize to them and tell them sorry, but it won't work.

This morning as I was at home getting ready for church when my phone rang,
 and it was a taxi man who told me he was bringing my uncle in and needed
 directions to church. I was SO EXCITED! I loved having Uncle Bruce
 and his friend Marshall join me for church.
 Feeling super blessed by there visit!
