Another Good Day

Yesterday afternoon I was able to stop by to see some friends that I didn't think I was going to get to see so was SO excited when I heard they would be in Goodfield

Jaxon had just been fed and was filling his pants as we were trying to take

a picture of all of us kids. Ryan does not do well with dirty diapers and it looks like he was trying not to gag while taking the picture.

Skydiving!!!

Saturday at noon we met in El Paso and drove up to Skydive Chicago to jump.

so I made another reservation for Tuesday morning!

Friday I went over and had the opportunity to hang out with Mary all day

We worked around the yard transplanting flowers and cleaning out the dog kennels

Then Friday Night Josh Mary and I went to the Gamma Phi Circus!

These girls were fun to watch they were very

high up and rolled themselves up in these silk sheet like things

and did flips and twists and all sorts of cool things

launch the girl in the air who would then flip and

end up on the shoulders of the 2nd guy.

What I have been doing

Last Friday I met Kate in Bloomington for lunch and pedicures!
Tuesday Night I met Megan for Supper and to catch up
(Yes it was freezing and I was wearing my winter coat)
Wednesday Night I Met Aud and Holly For Supper and to Catch Up

Thursday I Met Kate for lunch and shopping then we took Lincoln to the park

Thursday Night I Met Wendy for Coffee then back to her house to play with Ella,

Get my hair cut, and talk some more!

Discovery Museum

Today I had the opportunity to hang out with Jamey. We met up with Kristy and Abbi and spent the day at the Discovery Museum

He always has to hide when he is going to see someone

so he can jump out and SURPRISE them.

Odd Jobs

So I have been asking everyone I meet if they have any odd jobs I can do to keep me busy while I am back so I don't get bored. I have had the opportunity to plant flowers, paint, and last night Teri and I went over to Granny's to clean her light fixtures.

After the work was done we all sat down for tea and cookies and had us some girl talk:)

Wrigley is not to be left out. If you are there he is right beside you or on you. I was sitting back holding Jaxon on my chest with my legs pulled up thus the only place for Wrigley to sit on was my head... so he did.

Ummm... this is not my family

So I was so excited I got my computer back today. And silly me I thought when they cleaned everything off my computer they would put it back on just how it was so I would know how to use it. But they didn't. They sent 4 CD's with all my pictures/videos/music/documents and so I was trying to figure out how to get the info from the C.D. back onto the computer and as I was looking through the files I didn't recognize any of the names. I thought that was a little odd then I opened my picture folder and was so excited when I recognized one of my folders (or so I thought) it was titled Family. So I opened it up and realized these people are NOT my family. Who are they? Then I went on to read other folder names and I am pretty sure I was never an ISU cheerleader. That I was not recently in an English 101 class, and that I had not recently graduated from High School. So its back to the Geek Squad to try and find my files and return the files I have to their proper owner. That's all for now.... Hopefully I can get this all figured out tomorrow!

The Problem Continues...

So I was going to stop at Best Buy today to see if my computer was done, BUT instead they called me and informed me this "infection" has so overtaken my computer that they needed permission to do more extensive work that would take a few more days! Sheesh! I guess I should be thankful that this is all getting taken care of now instead of when I am at home and am kinda stuck then if it crashes.... Pictures and updates soon come.

We Have a Problem

So today I took my computer to the geek squad to have a check up because I have been having problems and thought it would be wise to get it looked at while I was in the States. The diagnosis was NOT good. I had some major problem and they have to clean everything off my computer to fix it and its going to be a few days before I get it back. I have lots of pictures and will have more I'm sure by the time I am able to upload them and share. At least they have found the problem and its getting fixed while I am here.

I then tried to go shopping and I don't like shopping I have never been a good shopper and am thankful that now I only have to go once every 6 months or so. It was not a productive trip. I walked around aimlessly for a few hours then left. This means I will have to attempt once more to go out and get the things on my list. Yuck Yuck Yuck!

First Day Back

I have been Blessed with the BEST group of friends, and have been BLESSED beyond belief at the relationships I have been able to make while working on the island.

So It just happened to work out that a bunch of us who were just in Kingston together could meet up for lunch yesterday so... we did. They tried to kill me choosing monicals for our meeting place but I was careful and PTL it didn't knock me out for the rest of the day.

It's Official

I would like to welcome Blake Widmer to "Team Jamaica" He will be joining us down here as a full time missionary. Please pray for him and his family as he prepares and starts the transition of this new journey in life.

Soaking it all in

So Tomorrow Morning about 9 I am headed to Mobay so that Friday Morning I can catch my early flight and not have to leave KP at a crazy hour like 5 in the morning.
That means that I have today to finish up, pack, pull together unfinished work, make sure everyone is on the same page, do as much as possible to prepare for when I will not be here, clean my house, put away everything that can not be mold covered or would attract any rodents or bugs while I am away, and somewhere in there try to Enjoy this Beautiful day that God has blessed me with.

So far my coffee continues to sit by me (and has been for the last 10 min) My toast has popped out of the toaster probably a good 30 min ago and I have yet to go retrieve it, and as I look outside I would be totally content to go out there with my toast, coffee, and a good book and spend the day under the sun.

If only that were an option!

Celebrating Life

Yesterday I arrived a half hour early to a baby shower that started an hour and a half late.(the story of my life). The ladies from church all came together to celebrate life.

Before we start we always have a time of devotion to encourage our hearts.

We played lots of games and had a great time of fellowship. This is Bianca's 3rd child but her 1st baby shower. She was so appreciative that after opening each gift she would call the person up thank them personally and give them a hug:)
