Improvising

What to do when your 3 year old is really to big
for a baby bath, you have no tubs in your house, and she
HATES having water poured over her head in any way
(including little drops at a time like a shower)?
get the smallest kiddy pool you can find and tada!
You have a tub for a 3 year old.
Draining it each time is a pain, but I will happily do that
over fighting her through every daily shower:)

Catching up

I am trying to play catch up this morning, as many things have
been pushed aside the last 3 weeks. You know its been a long 3 weeks
when you go to get a tupperware out of the draw
to put food in, and there is already food in it... whoops....
that probably should have gone in the fridge and not back in the
drawer :)
We have just finished our
3rd week of 3 teams (groups) in a row, and we are Praising Jesus
for a day to slow down and do nothing.
I failed in getting group pictures of the 1st 2 groups. The
first was a team from Ohio that comes every year and does a teacher
training for our staff. The second group was a bunch of random
people coming in for the board meeting/ or coming with board
members and here simply to visit.

Our 3rd group was a team from Pennsylvania and come every
two years. This team worked so hard and did so much this week.
They worked hard and loved our kids and staff well.
So thankful for teams like this.

Scripture Memory

Every year The Dayton Team Challenges the students to memorize a
verse that they use through out the week. This weeks verse was John 3:16.
Neiah, was able to memorize and recite the verse back to the
team.
And so she was able to pick out a toy from the prize bag.
She picked an armadillo and Loves it:).

Its all about the little things.

Happy Birthday Neiah Amani!

Today this girl turns 3!

Happy Birthday Neiah!
You are fearfully and wonderfully made
and you are loved more then you know.
We were able to have have a birthday party with cousins
the day before we came home.
This morning she loved waking up to balloons,
and a happy birthday plate and napkin with her
poptart for breakfast:)

Its all about the little things!

Praising  Jesus for this little girl.
