Here I Come!

FYI I am coming back to the states for the month of August and would love to

get together with as many of you as possible. I fly in this Thursday
but won't be around central IL until Monday.

Don and his team did a phenomenal job... the transformation
was truly unbelievable!

This team ended our work team season in a great way.
They were so much fun and I am thankful for all the
new friendships that were made.

Summer Interns

Here a picture of some of the girls I have gotten to hang out with this summer
Anna and Alison have been (will be) here for 6-9 weeks this summer,
and JaniceI got to hang out with for a month (we had so much fun!).
Anna is a massage therapist and she considers massages her ministry
so I have gotten some great massages this summer:).
Alison I met last year when she was on a team and I got to
spend a weekend with her this summer too while she was up
at JDV for a team a few weeks ago.

I am happy to say I have FINALLY gotten Ionda and Kadene's wedding
pictures up on my shutterfly site.... i think:)

Danae and Friends

As I was (am and it seems like forever will be:) editing pictures
I came across this one and it just made me laugh so I am posting it

Danae (in red) was not in the wedding but very badly wanted her
picture taken like her big sis. Pheobe (girl on the far right)
She was all dressed for the wedding but her hair was only half way braided
but she really ReAlLy REALLY wanted her picture taken
letting me know I can smile pretty for pictures too.
So for a few pictures she jumped in with the flower girls and smiled her
little heart out:)

Ionda & Kadene's Wedding

Bright and Early Sat. Morning my trusty side kick, Janice Anliker, and I
set out to play photographer for good friends Ionda and Kadene's Wedding
I tried to get pictures in order and it worked for the first two then stop so
they are just randomly on here.

With Kadene as she was getting ready. It was so fun to see her
excitement as more and more family showed up at her parents home.

very GQ and I guess I'm just not used to taking pictures like that:)

This was my first Jamaican Wedding and it was so fun!
I was so happy to be able to be there for them
and so thankful for this new experience.

Then the big project for the week. Building a NEW and IMPROVED
Play ground for the kids!!!!!

After demolition of the old and everything was torn down
and taken apart

There were going to be 4 towers in the original plan but we

only had room for 3 in the end.

The finished product. I am so excited for the kids to come back and see it!

and apparently she had heard things about me as well. We were
both excited that we actually got to meet and get to know each
