Today was the first day I got to spend a few hours with my kids at KP in little over a month and WOW have I missed them. Since I have been staying with the Hubers since I have returned I have not gotten to see them until today. Yesterday Damion dropped off a foil wrapped piece of cake and note for me. As I read the note from one of my girls at KP it said "we had a surprise party planned for you but you did not show up. We had fun any way and saved you a piece of cake". What great kids I have been blessed to work with. So this morning I caught a ride with Damion to KP to hang out with my kids for a while. When I got to my apt door there was a sign that said. Welcome Home to Jamaica we have a special event planned for you Saturday night. That must have been the party Sabreke told me I missed. It was SO GREAT to see everyone again. All the little kids had to show me all loose/missing/ and growing new teeth. All bandaged and ouchy areas. I got so many hugs, and I missed you I could not keep from smiling. I also had an opportunity to visit with older kids and staff. Mrs. deMercado wanted to know how I came back to the island with a better tan then I left with:) (Thank God for long weekends in AZ!) Ok i need to finish up I don't have much time left with my high speed Internet access! Have a great day I love you. Be blessed and be a blessing -Erin-

An Update
Hi Everyone, I don't know how many of you are aware that Pam went into Labor on Wednesday (yesterday) and had her twins in Jamaica SURPRISE! They were planning on coming home the first of May so they could have the twins in the states but God had other plans. Pam had a girl and a boy Lucas and Lauren. Both weighing in at around 4lbs. Both were but in incubators and on oxygen. Today I got an update that Lucas is doing good but Lauren in not. She is being moved to one of the bigger hospitals rather in Kingston or MoBay to be put on a ventilator. This means Pam will stay with Lucas and Chad will go with Lauren and Praise God for His perfect timing when I arrive home tomorrow I will be able to be with their 5 kids at JDV. If you could PLEASE lift this family up in prayers they truly need them. Pray for health and safety of Pam and the new babies, then also that passports can be gotten for the babies so they can get them back to the states. If I get any more updates I will pass them along. One more prayer request I will be entering Jamaica about 1:30 tomorrow if you could pray for a smooth entrance and now problems getting through the airport that would be great. Thanks so much. I love you. Be blessed and be a blessing-Erin-

My Date with Jamey
Good Morning Everyone! I am here in Phoenix visiting family and friends and because I am still on JA time and not AZ time I am up and going while the others in the house sleep. This gives me an opportunity to catch up on my blogging. I was blessed with the opportunity to spend Tuesday with my favorite little man James Lee. He has been such a Big part of my life since he was born and I have missed him very much since moving to JA. I was thankful his mom let me borrow him for the day so we could hang out like old times and go to visit all the places that used to be routine for us. Our favorite is the Children's Discovery Museum in Bloomington so we spent a big part of our day there catching up:)

Back in the States
Hi Everyone, I arrived back in the states yesterday. I flew into Indy by way of Charlotte, and D.C. then drove back to Goodfield arriving around 11p.m. I praise God for safe travels. It was weird and took me a while to fall asleep it was to quiet. After falling asleep to dogs barking and kids being kids, and the occasionally 4 legged visitors I now like it to be somewhat noisy when I fall asleep. So far so good things are different and I am slowly trying to get back into the swing of things, not all American food is agreeing with me but I am hoping to soon be able to handle Starbucks. Thanks to my Awesome brother and sister in law who got me both Starbucks and taco bell gift cards so I can enjoy things i have missed in Jamaica. My first day home i got a hair cut (Praise GOD) and it feels like a 20lbs weight has been lifted from my head and I have had an opportunity to spend time with family and that has been a blessing. My favorite comment coming from my sister "are you jaundiced or is that a tan...?" You would think after 6 months in JA I would be nice and tan but since i live in the mountains (not on a beach) and work in a school most of the day.... the tan is not really there:) Thanks for all your love and support and hopefully i will get to see you soon. be blessed and be a blessing -Erin-
