My Heart Smiles:)

Blake sent me this picture today and my heart just smiled and smiled
as I thought of Grandpa and how excited he would be to see this.
I can just picture him as he would slap his leg throw back his head
and laugh then say how about that!

Meet Dayton Christian School

This past week we were blessed to once more host Dayton
Christian School. They come every year and do things a little
different. Instead of construction work they take over the school.
Some teach classes while others teach the teachers. They are an amazing
CHRIST focused group that has fun with our kids. They do chapels
with the kids every morning and night and teach them in a way
that keeps the kids captivated and involved. This team
truly knows what deaf ministry is all about!

with them. but was thankful to hear they had a great week.
Pioneer PCA was here last week from PA, they are a great
team with beautiful hearts. They got a lot of work done,
and truly blessed this ministry.

Wish You Were Here

I got to sit here yesterday as I caught up on phone calls,
journaling, and reading.

It was Nice!

Wish you were here!

Go Figure

I knew it in my gut that I had been knocked down another rung when
within an hour of Mom's arrival Blake had sweet talked her enough
to make her laugh, give him the funny points he was begging of her,
and then the comment came "You are just like Ryan"...
(aka her favorite child:)
by the end of the week she was freely giving him back rubs
as he sat there beside her.

Ryan... Kristen... when was the last time mom gave you a back rub?
I can't remember the last time I got one:)

(Disclaimer: Mom No Worries:) this was all written in fun.
we all know Ryan will forever be your favorite:)

(this area was copied and used in the movie pirates of the
Caribbean... or so I was told)
