Meet The England Team

I was only with them a few days before I headed to the states
for Tashi's baptism. But in that time I learned a lot about different
cultures, religion (over half the team was Muslim), and language (there
sign language ,BSL British Sign Language, was different then ours JSL
Jamaica Sign Language). This team came as part of a student exchange
program that the council works with.

Flying through last week.

The thought came after a great baptism weekend how I failed
in taking any pictures. I guess I was enjoying my social life so much
that I completely forgot to take pictures of all those I love that
I got to spend time with:(
I did find one picture on my camera of a date I got with
some beautiful girls that I love!

During my time in the states I took Hundreds of pictures...
they were just focused on some cute littles that I was around:)

Cutie #1 was Jersey Rae
making sure mom was still around during the pictures.
attempting to pull of headband #1....
before switching to headband #2
What a Beautiful Girl she is! Thanks for letting me capture
these Brooke!

Cutie #2 was Colton Micheal
He has got a great smile but is hard to keep still long enough
to capture many pictures.
thankfully mom was around to hold him to keep him
still while we captured some pictures.
I would jump up and down and do whatever I could to
make this kid smile... no reaction. His mom would simply
open her mouth and he thought she was the funniest thing ever!

I was thankful for this little extra time with K and Colton while
capturing these before I left Friday morning.

Short But Sweet

I was able to jump back to the States for a few days this
past week(end) to support my friend Tashi for baptism weekend.
I arrived Wednesday night and was able to spend Thursday, and
Friday morning in central IL before spending the rest of my
time in Indiana.
LOVED getting to hang out with these boys!
Jaxon is becoming so affectionate!
he now likes to mash his face into yours and be
as close as he possibly can:)
Colton cheesing for the camera while showing off
his bottom teeth.
the boys entertaining us while playing a duet on the piano.
Jaxon always so serious, while Colt is always smiley.
The boys modeling the new training toilets grandpa so
proudly made for them. Jaxon happily used his for a
chair to sit and read his books on.

Country Weekend

Friday afternoon I got a text from Tashi asking me what I thought
about going to the country with her for part of the weekend. At first
my head said no... I have to much to do with a team coming in and getting
ready to go back to the states. BUT then my heart jumped in and said
YES! This is needed. So Friday after our team conference call we drove
down to St. Elizabeth to the Bent's house in the country.
Friday night was spent staying up late and talking.
Praise Jesus for girl talk:)
Saturday morning I was the last one awake:) and when I came out
to everyone chatting at the kitchen table this was the first thing I
noticed.
Pauline's (Tashi's mom) bible was sitting on the table and I
thought Wow! That is one beautiful and very loved book.
With my cup of tea in hand I went out to sit on the back porch
enjoying the time to wake up slow while drinking my tea
and talking to good friends.

Once I woke up some, and my cup was empty I grabbed my camera
and walked around the yard to capture some flowers.

and trees...
once I made my way around the yard I walked down the
road and took some pictures of the great ocean view.

We then jumped in the car and drove towards lovers leap
but it was locked so we were not able to go in, instead
we parked the car and walked around enjoying the view
and taking pictures.
Tashi and Jordan (her brother) stopping to chat
The gorgeous view Jordan found
Tashi and I after a great day enjoying the country.

Painting

Friday for craft club we put down the towels, pulled out the
paints, and the kids went to work creating art!
Tajay's must have car
(looks like the kind with the big speakers attached
to the roof)
Damian being inspired by the #9 and Jesus
Richards "I Love You" hand shape under his rainbow
Paris painting her hearts
a small sampling of the art work created that day.

Farmers Market

I am excited now that on Fridays they set up a little farmers market
,in the courtyard down the hill,
to sell some of the extra vegetables grown on the farm.
There were actually people trying to buy as I was taking
pictures but Ms. Pauline shooed them away then told me to
wait a min. so she could set up the vegetables for the picture:)

It Is The Cry Of My Heart.
