The Night Sky

Tonight the sky was clear and the stars were bright.
and in that clear sky there was one big white fluffy cloud.
and as the sky got darker
you could really see the lighting in the cloud
It Was Very Cool!

Never A Good Sign

The water trailer returned to the court yard this week and is now
a daily reminder of how desperately we need rain.
we had a GREAT solid week of afternoon rains

Bubbles

A team left a bubble maker and last week I was able to pull it
out for the first time and let the kids enjoy all the bubbles.
we started off with just a few kids watching as this contraption continued to
make bubbles. They turned it all around to see the process of how the
bubbles were made. Felt it to determine if there was a motor in there
then sat and enjoyed watching it.as the air started to fill with bubbles more and more kids came over to see
where they were all coming from. They had a great time trying to pop all the
bubbles that were quickly filling the air.
they would sit as close as they could get and try to catch the bubbles in
there mouths. This "trick" was quickly stopped after the first few kids
caught a bubble in their mouths and found out it was made of soap and
didn't taste good at all:)

Acceptance

"Acceptance is taking from God's hand
absolutely anything he gives,
looking into his face in trust and
thanksgiving"

A child's prayer

I love watching the little ones (those just developing
their language) pray. There language is VERY limited
so they pray the words they know.
This morning I had a pre-primary class right before lunch
and before they leave each student says an individual
lunch prayer before they leave the room.
This was one of the prayers prayed today:
Sorry. Love. Mother. Father. Teacher.
Wrong. Play. Punish.
AMEN!
Makes my heart smile every time:)
