Neiah's 1st Sports Day

She got 4th because she ran to me on the side line instead of

running over the finish line:)

 I think this was her favorite part. Holding hands with her friends

as they walked to the starting line...

 She didn't want to stay in her own lane.

She just wanted to stand beside her friend in their lane.

 The egg race. She didn't even take her first step and the 'egg'

fell off.

 She did try really hard to keep the ball on the spoon.

 but ended up caring it like this most of the way:)

over at the judges table giving her race standings.

So thankful for a fun day with my girl!

The Last 3 months...

 Popsicles were eaten

 bags were worn on our heads

 swings are swung every sunny afternoon.

 Slowly she is learning to climb BIG tree.

 1st mangoes of the season have been eaten.

 A hammock chair her size was installed.

 Races were ran after church in St. Elizabeth.

 Big sticks were found at big tree and only 2

people were hit with it...

 Grandma Kris came to visit and was patient enough to read

the dictionary for Neiah.

Iowa

The team last week... they got it. We don't see it often with teams,

but when we do, we treasure it.

The week was incredible and I truly got to see God work through 21 

empty vessels. Truth was spoken, Love was shared, hearts were

encouraged, and it was beautiful to watch.

So thankful that God sent them to run along side us for a week.

We are so very THANKFUL for them.

Midlothian/ FSU

Last week Neiah and I were able to hang out with 2 teams.

 The first was from Florida State University

and the Second was from Midlothian Texas.

This is the second year we hosted both teams at the same time.

They had a great week and I praise Jesus for all the ways

they were willing to run along side us last week.

One

 One year ago today I was able to bring this little lady home

with me and became 'mommy' for the first time.

The past year  God has used to grow us both daily, 

and teach us lessons that we will

both benefit from for the rest of our lives.

It has been far from easy. But she is SO worth it!

Thank You Jesus for this Blessing!

Jamaica Day

The last Friday of February is "Jamaica Day'

This is a HUGE day for schools, and most

put on a big presentation.

 The kids all praded around the school grounds

with their flags

 then stood in a big circle to watch the boys club do 

their marching performance.
