He was 6lbs 13oz 18"long and you can't see his hair because of the hat but I'm told its there.

I'm an AUNTIE!

Jaxon James is here. I got a call about 3 this morning. I know he is 6lbs (something) and has lots of dark hair. I have not heard anything since then so I am waiting for more info and pictures. Please pray for Ryan and Nicole as they start this new journey in life.

Meet my Kingston Team

So I had a blast last week with this team. I have been working with some of them for 5 years or more and I love them all. They have become my family. I have tons of pictures to share about the week with them but I will start out with introductions.

Meet GVSU

This was my team two weeks ago. They were a small fun group from Grand Valley State University. They spent their week using the jack hammer to break up concrete then dug it out to put in a new drainage system by the school so when we get hard rains the water doesn't go into the school. They are also the only team I know of thus far to all do the zip line on their free day at Y.S.! Thanks for a great week GVSU!

So I was blessed to be in Kingston all last week and in another 5 days will be there again for a week. But I am thankful to be home for a (hopefully) normal week. I have lots to update on but am WAY to tired now so I will hopefully get started on that tomorrow.

Time with Truitt

This week Plattners are on duty. That means they are responsible for Chapel on Wednesday night. The weeks Plattners are on duty I get to hang out with Truitt during Chapel. Tonight we made a fort and had lots of fun with it.

You can't see our hear it but Truitt is very enthusiastically saying CHEESE!
We both didn't fit in the fort so I would only stick my head in:)

A Face Lift.

Two weeks ago the team gave a fresh coat of paint to our pre primary room. Last weeks team drew pictures and painted the walls to make it a "Happy" learning environment.
