don't have a language.

A New Normal...

We are now 3 weeks into our new routine of
Neiah going to school each day.  They
days are long for her, and Praise Jesus I think
we are finding a new balance.
I have gotten this face many times
the last few weeks because she is just so
tired by the time she gets home.
(she has a 7 hour school day at 2 years old)
As soon as I ask her to do anything it leads
to a pouty face, or melt down.

 She has homework about daily....
and since she is only 2, it really means that I
have 'homework' daily.

After 3 weeks, I finally feel like we are getting this
school routine thing figured out.
So while I was grocery shopping I decided to
make a SPLURGE for Neiah to celebrate
getting this new balance down.
After getting introduced to grapes in the states, she
now begs for them all the time. They are CRAZY expensive
down here, but sometimes you just have to splurge.
Some things I have no problem justifying down here.
spending $5 for a few grapes I haven't been able to justify yet.
BUT last week I did.
She was SO excited!

Our weekends are spent catching up on sleep.
She wakes up about 7a.m. and by 10a.m. has fallen asleep again
in random places around the house.

Praise Jesus for times of growth for both of us.
Praise Him for sustaining us through these times
of Growth. They are not always easy but they are
Good!
Happy Sabbath!
 Have a great week.

Sweet Moments

What to do, when the day is dreary and cold, and the pest control guy has
come to spray for bugs?
Bundle up the babies and snuggle them outside:)
I am so blessed by these moments!

They're back!

After 2 months of a 'deserted town' feel with the kids gone,
they are now Back!
We seem to have a lot of new kids this year and they are all
older. We got 3 or 4 transfer students from Mobay, some from
May Pen, and another few from...idk where because they don't have
language enough to tell me:)
Andrea still seems to be the baby this year and she is a handful!
Tyrell had a hard time transitioning back to school,
but is now doing great. Praise Jesus!
These girls are growing up WAY TO FAST!
Futbol is the game of choice after school.
I love this girl! She is such a blessing and its been so fun watching
her grow up.

Please continue to pray for the kids and some are still not back to
school, and for their transition back to school life once they arrive.
Thanks.

Since its been a while....

I thought I would post some pictures of my babies:)
 Meet Bella.
She is the newest addition at New Hope.
 Big Chris
Is still a lazy boy as his belly grows daily:)
 Christian is up and walking!
Big Jermaine is now creeping and pulling himself
up on things, and has 2 teeth!
Such a huge plus for a kid who is over a year old!
Mighty Mouse Kimmy is always happy and chatting
to whoever will listen.
 Kristen
Being sweet and smiley, and taking a break from
bulling any and everyone.
 Ky Guy
always being a goof
 A sweet Shamario smile,
caught in between his consistantly overdramatic
break downs
Tafique in a rare and giggly mood
 Sweet Tedddy Bear
Miss Tiffany
always has a big toothless smile, and
is always on the go!

1st Day of School!

I thought I was ready. I know this is a good thing...,
but when I went to drop her off for her first day of school...
It was A LOT harder on me then I expected.

I am SO thankful she has a good school to go to,
and a kind teacher.
I pray we quickly find our routine in getting up so early
so she gets to school on time.
I don't know what to do without having her by
my side all the time. Its going to take time getting
to this new normal.

I am so excited to go get her and hear about
her first day of school!

Prayers for her and this new routine would
be appreciated! Thanks!

Back from Furlough

The past few months have been a blur of chaos and the frustration,
that ended in praise and fun as God perfectly opened the doors needed,
(in His PERFECT time and not mine..at all) and Neiah and I were
able to come up to the states for a few weeks.
PRAISE JESUS, She is a great traveler and the travel days
went SO smoothly. Because this was her first time to the states
we stayed VERY low key. Mostly around mom and dads house
visiting with a few people here and there.
We didn't let everyone know we were coming because we didn't
want to offend the many we would not get to see during our visit,
because of a short visit time, and trying to keep things as simple,
and 'home' based as possible for Neiah's sake.
She loved her time with Colt and Brady
 And Jaxon and Kensley.
We got to watch Uncle Ryan coach and play baseball
She was able to help mow, and stuck with it until I made her
get off .
We were able to visit a small zoo and she surprised
me with her boldness in getting near the animals.
We tried the children's museum with Colt and Brady.
She tried to have fun but had her 'overwhelmed' smile on her
face over half the time.
There were lots of rides taken on the Polaris.
She wasn't sure of it at first....
 but ended up loving it.
Lots of time was spent playing on the play ground
 and with side walk chalk
She loved the afternoon we spent at Jumping Jax
with Uncle Ryan, Jaxon, and Kensley.
This was her favorite bouncy house and she probably went through
it 20+ times.
Car rides full of singing with cousins.
These two did so good together.
I loved watching them play together.
This was just a super cute picture caught during family pics

 All the cousins
not sure what to think of all these pictures with these crazies.
Jaxon's one request was to take a 'level complete' picture.
You know how the video game player jumps or does some move
when they beat a level?
So this was our attempt at that.

So thankful for the time we had in the states.
Prayers for smooth transition days back for Neiah
and I, and for all the busyness that is to come this week.
Thanks!
