Mango Ivy

I haven't had poison ivy for years.  Last week this
skin irratation showed up all along my forearms.
Go Figure, the oil on the mango skin is some how
related to or has the same effect as getting into poison ivy.
I have never peeled, or been around so much mango mush
as I have been the last few weeks at New Hope where the kids
seem to eat them daily.
Hopefully this Mango Ivy doesn't take long to get rid of!

Spike

Meet Spike, she is the schools dog.
Most days she is ignored because of her fleas, ticks
and every other nasty thing she has.
This last team loved on Spike.
They loved her to the point of painting her nails.

Looking good Spike. Looking Good!

She's Back....

Another Huge factor in getting me through this final week was having
Tamara here with me again. She is awesome and I love it each year when
she comes to spend the week with us down on the island.
Its crazy how fast this week flew. I felt like she just got here and it
was time for her to go:(. I would have loved to keep her a few extra
weeks, but PRAISE God for the time she was here.

Thank You Jesus for Awesome Friends!

Highland Park

This past we had the team from Highland Park with us again.
I LOVE this team.
They are so good for my heart. And for the past few years they
have spent the mornings at New Hope doing small projects, and
loving on the kids. Its so fun watching them love on my kids there.
And when I say "I love them and they are so good for my heart' I am
talking about their staff. The kids are fun and super gullable, but the
staff are AMAZING and have become good friends that I look forward
to hanging out with each year.
I Praise God that this was the last of my 5 weeks in a row. God knew
I would need them to finish out strong.
(more pictures of our time at New Hope on my share site).

Thank You Jesus for Great Teams!
